Totally agree, as professional recruiter's at Epitome Recruitment we focus on offering our client's this consultancy service, our recruiters are exactly that, recruiters, professionals in the art of recruiting, interview techniques, CV reading & writing and employment law. I was recently horrified by some fellow recruitment professionals asking our professional organisation the REC to provide more 'Sales' training for recruiters, claiming we where 'sales people'! Yes all business need business developers but it is time to separate these roles as the two do not go hand in hand. Rant for the day over.
