Totally agree, as professional recruiter's at Epitome Recruitment we focus on offering our client's this consultancy service, our recruiters are exactly that, recruiters, professionals in the art of recruiting, interview techniques, CV reading & writing and employment law. I was recently horrified by some fellow recruitment professionals asking our professional organisation the REC to provide more 'Sales' training for recruiters, claiming we where 'sales people'! Yes all business need business developers but it is time to separate these roles as the two do not go hand in hand. Rant for the day over.

Low Cost Recruitment, the best way to work.
Low Cost Recruitment solutions as offered by the growing flat fee niche within the recruitment industry offer a real alternative to the traditional % fee recruitment agency. Some within the sector would argue that the low cost solutions offered will diminish the 'professionalism' of the recruitment industry, arguing that it is not possible to offer a full professional service for such a low cost. But low cost does not have to me 'cheap' or 'unprofessional', low cost recruitment if conducted correctly and within the guidelines of the REC will actually enhance the professionalism of the industry.
